This code applies to facilities, technology and inspection for manufacturing of composite cylinders which conforms to both of (1) and (2) below (hereinafter referred to as “cylinders”) in conformity to the High-Pressure Gas Safety Control Act (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), Article 3, No.2.
(1) Normal composite cylinders wrapped with continuous fiber resin-impregnated on the aluminum alloy seamless liner of which internal volume is not over 150L
(2) Cylinders which shall be prohibited to be used when 15 years elapse from the acceptance day in conformity to the Act Article 17, No.1.
