This Code is applicable to the facilities, technical matters, and inspections of hydrogen
generators using any of the following types of fuel among hydrogen generators falling under Article
2 (3) 3 of the Enforcement Rule of the Hydrogen Economy Promotion and Hydrogen Safety
Management Act (hereinafter referred to as the “Enforcement Rule”):
(1) “city gas” under subparagraph 1 of Article 2 of the Urban Gas Business Act;
(2) “liquefied petroleum gas” under subparagraph 1 of Article 2 of the Safety Control a nd Business
of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Act (hereinafter referred to as the “LPG Act”);
(3) other “hydrocarbons” and “alcohols” such as methanol and ethanol.
