This Code applies to facilities, technology and inspection for manufacturing of forced mixing type gas burners in conformity to the Enforcement Regulation of the Safety Control and Business Regulation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Act (hereinafter referred to as “the Enforcement Regulation”), Table 3, No.9 and Table 7, No. 4-i. However, forced mixing type gas burners attached to the combustors in conformity to the Enforcement Regulation, Table 3, No. 10 and the combustors specified in Table 7, No. 5-b are not covered by this Code. <Revised on November 4, 2015>
Combustors excluded from gas appliances subject to license in accordance with the Enforcement Regulation, Table 7, No. 5-b are as follows:
(1)Gas torches used in welding and cutting,
(2)Dryer burners used in cast sand dryers, printing ink dryers, concrete dryers, etc.,
(3)Heater burners of heat treatment furnaces or heating furnaces used in metal heat treatment furnaces, glass and ceramic furnaces, controlled atmosphere furnace, etc.,
(4)Burners for melting furnaces used for melting metal or glass,
(5)Burners attached to gas cylinders of which internal volume is less than 100 mL, and
(6)Other burners accepted by the Minister of Knowledge Economy to be free of safety problem.
